In the search for something to watch this evening, I scanned Netflix for a funny movie my wife and I could both could watch. I found a movie I had seen the commercials for and thought this might be alright.

It had a star studded cast, with Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver, Kristen Chenowith, Kristen Bell and Betty White… how could this miss? You Again was likely one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. The story was trite: boy meets girl, girl is a mean girl who tortured boys sister in high school. There was nothing original about this; they could have really done something with this cast.

Let me spoil the ending… everything worked itself out. It was tedious and I felt bad for the A list actors who signed off on this loser. There must have been a boat load of money thrown at these folks to make this one. If you come across it on Netflix, please, for the love of all things cinematic, skip by! Do not stop and inflict this on yourself or your family! Betty, what were you thinking?
