This multi-million dollar box office smash was worth every dollar. From the moment I sat down, the screen enveloped my eyes and ears, grabbing hold for the next two and half hours. Fans of the this genre must have been in cinematic heaven as their heroes came to life protecting the Earth from the mythical character Loki and his otherworldly henchmen. The cinematography was breathtaking; the movie magic was second to none. I cannot remember the last time that I was so thoroughly whisked away and propelled in and through a story with such energy and power.
The cast of characters stretched across the Marvel universe with the compulsory cameo from Stan Lee. Ironman, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye band together under the quasi leadership of Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. to protect the Earth from invasion.
