Wow! Ok I am a big Clint fan… but what the heck was that little diatribe? Rambling at an empty chair, going off script, assuming there was one, doing more harm than good. The republicans made an interesting choice in having a Hollywood star give an ad-lib speech. Clint Eastwood seemed to be out of sorts and at times a little confused. This is a clear failure in judgment by the Romney campaign.
Then the nominee came on and talked in conservative generalities. He talked about creating jobs, great maybe some of his “friends” can open a bunch of Subways and pay people a wage they can’t live on. Then when he guts the Affordable Care Act we all get stuck with higher and higher prices for care because all those jobs he created don’t come with insurance.
The convention was a painful demonstration of propaganda and promises made to the few at the expense of the many. A society is judged on how they treat the sick and poor and the huddled masses.
I give this post apocalyptic propaganda docu-drama a 1 out of 5 stars. I hope that this show does not get picked up for a full season, it reminds me of a bad show that ran for 8 years you might remember it, That’s my Bush…..
